Hi Jerry,

Thanks for dropping by and posting - the easiest way on an E71 to find your current firmware is by typing *#0000# into your keypad.

You can also download the Nokia suite and software upgrade tool, connect to your phone via USB (for software & firmware I would stay away from any wireless communications such as Bluetooth) and re-load the firmware and software on that way.

I believe the current level of firmware is 200.21.118 (27-11-2008 RM-346) - I updated mine only a couple of days ago, very simple (automated) to do - please ensure you backup your current phone configuration first (yes, boring and time consuming I know - worth it if it all goes wrong!).

Cheers,
Darren

Something else to carry around in my opinion... I had one for an old iPaq that used IR (still got it somewhere!). Not really what I want, I love my HTC Touch Pro and have comfortably gone away without a laptop a couple of times, that's how much I trust it!!!

Anything that doesn't use Exchange is relatively easy to mobilise - even then its more easy now than ever before (thanks to some new MS patches - thanks!)

The HTC is a nice phone - looks to rival the Nokia N97 in many ways - lets hope that the WM is stable - should be, as the new Server 2008 platform which drips into their other products (Windows 7) is excellent!

The new (OK - an additional cost extra for on the iPod Touch) landscape keyboard on the Apples looks good - their 'touch' technology is certainly better than the Blackberry's (more specifically the Blackberry Storm - clumpy and horrible to use - well I find it is anyway).

Ever thought of a Bluetooth keyboard....

Hmmm... Do I want you to help me mobilise mine... Probably not, I'm going for the HTC Touch Pro 2 I think when it's released on Orange.

I've got the iPod Touch and am still not grabbed by the prospect of an iPhone, the lack of real keyboard is a major issue for me.
